Tornado Sirens

What a day. From the hot, humid and muggy weather this afternoon, to the 40 mile an hour winds with quarter size hail, the Ragbrai crowd can't catch a break. GLENWOOD is cursing under their breath as they see people run to their respective tents and away from the local Maidright vendors. Looks like we'll be hunkering down tonight in the tent with a good book and Ragbrai butterflies.

And the bathroom lines start

We couldn't get out of Des Moines before we started waitng in line to relieve our blatters. A long week of porto-potties and 1 ply await us.

The bus ride

Got soaked in a flash storm!
